Located in Palasari Temporary Disposal Site (Tempat Pembuangan Sampah/TPS), urban farming workshop area is an area that engaged local communities to raise more awareness of their environment by involving in various activities such as urban farming.

Despite the location, this uban farming workshop is designed with clean and calming concept to support the activities inside.

This design is proposed as a form of Seni, Desain, dan Lingkungan college task, collaborated with Aldisha B. W., Deanawati I. W, Endah R. H, and Brigitta Chenya N.

Rumah Bermain Padi is a preschool/kindergarten located in Bandung, Indonesia, that runs based on montessori system.

Montessori is a child-centered educational approach that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning, and collaborative play. The special characteristic about montessori method is the toys and props of montessori, and how children have freedom movement within the classroom.

Those characteristics happens to be the main problem that underlies the design of this project.

The overall concept of this project is optimizing children's concentration in learning process with the result as seen in the choice of materials and colors. Most of the furniture functions as built-in storage, and the rest is loose furniture that can be moved & stacked easily. What makes this design different is the zoning of every area that reduces permanent divider, so it can make one area to another open without separation. This is the answer of the needs of children's freedom movement within the classroom.

I personally learned a lot from the process of this project, and it has been a fun learning to know and understand about children and their psychology needs.

"Juara is an East meets West fusion of centuries of traditional botanical remedies with Western science. It is a true lifestyle skincare brand that is inspired by the ancient beauty secrets and herbal traditions of Indonesia.

Juara draws from the practice of a time-honored herbal medicine called Jamu, as well as the best of modern science to create products that promote the skin's natural balance and radiance. The products are a pure indulgence designed to delight and revitalize the senses - They smell amazing, feel incredible and provide an overall sense of well-being while delivering visible results."

Yes, Juara is amazing like that! I found the brand on the internet only to be amazed that they have been spreading out across New York and many other big cities, while even Indonesians were not aware yet of this brand (Don't worry, though, they're going to expand the market here in Indonesia too!).

A retail space known as a space to display and sell products of one brand or more, but it is more than that. A memorable, good retail is one with at least a facility that provides an experience for the customers. In this case, Juara Skincare retail space provides skin consultation service, coffee bar, and a service of hand and foot massage.

When I chose Juara as a title of this semester's project that is retail, at first I didn't think that Juara staffs would be very welcome to a student like me. But they did! They were very welcome, and they helped me through some of the phases of designing a retail! I even got a chance to talk with Miss Metta Murdaya (the founder herself!) and Miss Desy via phone call, and guess how much knowledge I've got from them? Lots!

I feel really lucky to stumble upon Juara, and I want to thank Miss Metta, Miss Desy, and every girl behind this amazing brand. I hope this brand will go far, spread across the globe, and not only as a good quality skincare but as an inspiration for many girls around the world.

P.S.: They sell Juara at Sogo in Indonesia, if you're wondering.

The main concept is a clean, modern, pastel kitchen set that is made for a productive user as a female college student. I made less decorative elements on the cabinet door, because the grid lines in the center of the set is already a main interest.

To create a clean yet pretty look, plywood with duco paint finish, and marble stone with honed finish (for counter top) are chosen for the materials.

This project was made to fulfill the task of furniture class 2015/2016.

This workspace is made for a user who loves making a cake with no baking technique. The furniture concept is a volume-based furniture, therefore when it is not being used by the user it can save spaces.

Not only divided storage between ingredients and utensils, this workspace also provides a space to decorate the cake, plus different swing table with two functions; sticks up the recipe sheets and puts down a plate of cake when you can eat right there in one place.
